Never Alone is a faith-based short film inspired by a true journey through debilitating anxiety and the life-changing power of Jesus Christ.
Samuel is trapped in a relentless battle that no one around him can see. As fear tightens its grip and hope begins to fade, he desperately searches for relief from the torment consuming his mind. When every earthly answer falls short, he encounters the quiet, unwavering presence of the Holy Spirit, who gently leads him toward the One who has never left his side.
Raw, intimate, and deeply personal, Never Alone is a powerful testimony of God's faithfulness, revealing that Christ's presence is often closest in our darkest moments and that true peace is found not in escaping our fears, but in surrendering them to Him.
Director’s Statement
Never Alone is the most personal story I have ever told.
The film is inspired by my own journey through debilitating anxiety and the freedom I found through my faith in Jesus Christ. During one of the darkest seasons of my life, I became convinced I was fighting a battle no one else could understand. Looking back, I now realize I was never alone.
My goal was to create a film that honestly portrays the invisible struggle of anxiety while offering hope to those who may be silently carrying the same burden. Although Never Alone is unapologetically rooted in the Christian faith, it is ultimately a story about the universal human desire for peace, purpose, and the assurance that we are not abandoned in our darkest moments.
My hope is that this film encourages compassion for those facing unseen battles and reminds audiences that hope can be found even in the deepest despair.
